The Joint Development Authority includes Chatham, Bryan, Effingham and Bulloch Counties and has combined their resources to facilitate bringing industry to our area. With Hyundai and the LG Energy Solutions plants bringing an investment of over $7.6B and sits on approximately 3,000 acres in Bryan County, it is causing exponential growth throughout our region, with employment within those entities expected to rise to 8,900 employees. Additional manufacturing plants with the promise of many additional jobs from the affiliate suppliers is expected to become widespread through out our local area. This site has two routes to I-16, one is 2.6 miles and the other is 5.5 miles.
